Abbeyfield Buckland Monachorum Society had a special reason to celebrate on the 17th October, as a much loved resident Elaine Holton marked her 90th birthday with a party organised by the Pilcher’s Field community.
Elaine was joined for the occasion by so many of her family including children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many more. Alongside fellow residents, staff came together to help make the day memorable for all in attendance.
A highlight of the celebrations was a beautiful birthday cake made by House Manager Kerry Torr. The design was chosen to reflect Elaine’s own wishes, making it an extra special part of her birthday.
Well done to Elaine for reaching such a tremendous milestone and to everyone who contributed to the success of this celebration at Pilcher's Field!
