The Octagon sheltered house was built in 1970 and is in a rural setting with a shop and a post office.
We have ten studio en suite apartments which are personalised to taste for a real home from home ambience. The house is highly thought of by its residents.
A non-resident manager is in attendance, and there is a 24-hour community alarm to give you complete peace of mind.
Our charges are fully inclusive. All meals are provided and there are also laundry facilities. Care services can be facilitated if and when needed.
The Octagon is managed by the Abbeyfield Basildon Society.
