Armstrong House, NE69 7BJ

Designed in 1914, the house was part of the Armstrong Estate where it was used as a rest home for workers in Armstrong's Tyneside factories. The house is in truly beautiful surroundings, just a stone's throw away from Bamburgh Castle. 

The house provides sheltered housing for older people with 12 studio flats, most of which are en-suite and come unfurnished, allowing you to personalise your space however you choose.  The rooms have an emergency call system and some rooms are suitable for couples.

For those with mobility issues, there is a stairlift and easy access bathroom.

We have a communal lounge, a dining room area and an attractive garden for you to use at your leisure. The garden overlooks the farmland behind Bamburgh, with the front garden and car park overlooking the stunning castle.

Two delicious main meals are served daily in the dining room, with our excellent varied menu catering to all individual tastes and preferences. Meals are freshly cooked and served, meaning residents no longer have to worry about food shopping and the preparation of food.
