Set in quiet, well-kept grounds close to the village centre of Kings Langley, Friars Mead offers warm, person-centred residential and respite care for older people, with support available 24 hours a day.

Friars Mead has 26 en-suite bedrooms (including a dedicated respite room) and is registered to support up to 27 people, including couples where appropriate. The home is designed to feel welcoming and homely, while maintaining strong standards of safety, dignity, and privacy.

Residents can enjoy our garden, featuring level pathways, handrails, and seating, helping them spend time outdoors comfortably and safely, with staff support available as needed.

We use local suppliers wherever possible, and meals are prepared in-house by our kitchen team. Our kitchen is inspected by the local authority, and the current food hygiene rating of 5* is available on the Food Standards Agency website.

Friars Mead Care Home is registered with the Care Quality Commission and operates in line with regulated standards for safe, effective care.
