Abbeyfield Wessex Society is seeking a practical, organised and hands-on Marketing Manager to strengthen enquiry generation, improve digital visibility and support occupancy across our homes.

This is a delivery-focused role, working closely with the CEO, Directors & House Managers and external partners to ensure our marketing is results-driven, consistent and centred on excellent customer experience.

 

The Role

 A key priority will be leading the redevelopment of our website, ensuring it becomes an engaging, reassuring and high-performing conversion tool. You will oversee day-to-day marketing activity that increases enquiries, drives visits, supports events and enhances our local reputation.

You will:

  • Lead website redevelopment and ongoing optimisation
  • Improve SEO, online visibility and Google Business Profiles
  • Deliver targeted campaigns (digital and offline)
  • Create compelling content including testimonials, photography and video
  • Manage social media and email marketing
  • Coordinate local advertising, direct mail and community promotion
  • Support event marketing and strengthen community engagement
  • Maintain and enhance online reviews and local PR
  • Track performance, report on KPIs and manage the marketing budget

You will also play an important role in supporting House Managers with clear messaging, confident communication and strong enquiry follow-up to improve conversion from enquiry to visit and move-in.

Based at Central Office in Westbourne but with travel to other Wessex Houses across the region from time to time.

Hours: 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday

Salary: £45,000.00 per year
