Houses across Abbeyfield Wessex have been buzzing with festive activity.
Residents have gathered for cosy afternoons of mulled wine and mince pies, enjoyed singing along with visiting choirs, and got creative making beautiful wreaths and Christmas cards.
We’ve also ventured out to admire the twinkling Christmas displays and pick up a few presents during our seasonal shopping trips.

It’s been a joyful time of connection, laughter, and shared traditions — everything that makes Christmas at Abbeyfield Wessex Society so special.

Discover Abbeyfield Wessex Society
The Wessex society run a number of sheltered homes designed for older, but independent people. Most sheltered houses have between 8 and 14 residents and a team of house staff who provide quality home cooked meals.
The society aims to run all homes to a high standard and every house offers a tranquil, positive communal environment with the freedom for residents to come and go as they please without restrictions or rules, except a few simple house courtesies to ensure all residents can live in a comfortable, peaceful environment.
