Abbeyfield Week 2021

We had a lovely time celebrating Abbeyfield Week last week across our houses. This year’s theme was ‘Creating Conversations’.

At Tunbridge Wells, we enjoyed a garden party and afternoon tea and thought about what makes living in an Abbeyfield House so special.

Tenants enjoyed an afternoon tea with sandwiches, pastries, salad, fruit, scones and a variety of delicious cakes. With jugs of Pimms too!

After thinking about what makes Abbeyfield special, tenants decided that ‘Happiness, Love and Peace of Mind’ sums up our Cadogan Gardens ‘Happy House’. That’s lovely to hear!

Retirement drinks with Margaret Jenner

Some of our team also enjoyed retirement drinks with Cadogan Gardens’ House Manager, Margaret Jenner.

We’ll be very sad to see Margaret go, but thank her for her many years of hard work and dedication. From everyone at Abbeyfield South Downs, we send Margaret our very best wishes for the future. You’ll be missed!
