Well, December is proving to be a very busy month! Our tenants have been very busy and welcomed a new arrival at Holdenhurst.

Brussel the House Elf

Scheme Manager Anna found a new (temporary) tenant had arrived on 1st December – Brussel the House Elf. So far, he’s decided to join the tenants for their Friday coffee morning, got himself in a bit of a tangle with the paper chains and been a little mischievous with toilet paper and our Christmas tree! What will he do next?!

Christmas Market

We were delighted to welcome local craftspeople and artisans to Holdenhurst for our first Christmas market. Thank you so much to the stall holders for coming to visit us: Flamingos Cards, Gatos Chocolates, V10 Clothing, Lynn’s Jewellery, Soaprecious, Temple Spa and Crystal Annie’s Fair.

Christmas Crafts

Some of our tenants had a lovely afternoon making decorations and Christmas-themed crafts.

Christmas Decorations Day

Many of our tenants came together earlier in the month to help decorate the communal areas of the house. As our first Christmas here, it’s a special time and took some deciding as to where to put what decorations!

We kept everyone going with hot drinks, mulled wine and Christmas songs – as well as a log fire (on the TV!). We think it all looks marvellous and very festive!
