Christmas Across Our Houses 2025
Christmas was a busy and joyful time across our Abbeyfield South Downs houses. From festive parties and special entertainment to Christmas dinners and plenty of seasonal sparkle, our tenants came together to celebrate in ways that felt warm, social and full of cheer.
Here’s a look at some of the highlights from our houses.
Beachside, Worthing
Our Worthing house celebrated with a Christmas Party, made extra special by entertainment from singer Jenna Hall. Tenants enjoyed relaxing together with family & friends, listening to music and soaking up the festive atmosphere. An enjoyable afternoon for all involved.

Beamsley House, Eastbourne
Beamsley House hosted a Christmas Party filled with laughter, wonderful entertainment and a little dancing! It was a great opportunity for tenants to come together, enjoy the music and celebrate the season in good company.

Holdenhurst, Heathfield
Holdenhurst was full of festive spirit throughout December. Our Christmas Party brought everyone together for a fun afternoon, with entertainment and plenty of smiles. Tenants also enjoyed a Christmas dinner, with many getting into the spirit by wearing festive accessories for the occasion - even Lulu the dog!

Lade House, Eastbourne
At Lade House, tenants enjoyed a delicious home-cooked Christmas dinner, a real highlight of the festive season. The dining room looked wonderful, and the meal provided a chance to relax, chat and enjoy a traditional Christmas celebration together.

Abbeyfield House, Tunbridge Wells
Tunbridge Wells enjoyed both a Christmas Party and a Christmas dinner. Two of our residents, Dalene and Mark, attend Trinity Church Choir, so it was lovely when they invited fellow choir members to come in and sing with the tenants. The music created a lovely festive atmosphere.

Abbeyfield House, Hove
Over at Hove, tenants celebrated with their own Christmas Party, bringing everyone together for an afternoon of festive fun. With decorations up and plenty of good company, it was a fitting way to mark the season.
Across all our houses, Christmas was about community, familiar traditions and enjoying time together in surroundings that feel like home.
