About Abbeyfield England Brecon Society

Our home, Abbeyfield House, is a sheltered home for older people where we aim to provide a peaceful, friendly atmosphere. Residents are supported to remain as independent as possible and are encouraged to make the house their home.

The Brecon Society has over 20 years history and we are located very close to the centre of Brecon’s market town. Our Society was set up to provide older people with supported living accommodation and was the first Welsh Society to achieve the Gold Star standard, as well as having a 5 star food hygiene rating.

The Abbeyfield way of life provides a home from home experience, balanced with privacy, support and security, and our staff are determined to preserve every aspect of our caring, welcoming environment.

Throughout the UK, supported by Regional and National networks, the Abbeyfield brand is committed to delivering compassion, companionship and practical help, and we are proud of our reputation and popularity in the local Brecon community.  Perhaps not surprisingly currently we have a waiting list for our flats and service of hospitality.
